ForestKind was founded by an entrepreneur from the Illukkumbura family — someone who spent years building brands far beyond these shores, then turned that expertise toward home. We'll let the work introduce itself.
ForestKind exists because the products young Sri Lankans were reaching for — for first breakouts, for monsoon frizz, for sun on the way to school — were too harsh, too expensive, or too imported to feel like theirs. We wanted a line that respected teen and twenty-something skin without talking down to it. That sat properly on Sri Lankan skin tones. That listed every ingredient on the bottle, in all three languages, the first time around.
Twelve products in, that's still the brief.
